Tainted Products from China

Lotte USA, Inc. of Battle Creek, MI has recalled all of their Koala’s March Cookies because they were produced in China and may be contaminated with melamine. The products are packaged in a plastic overwrap and flavors recalled include Koala March King Size chocolate, strawberry, white chocolate, family packs in chocolate, strawberry, white chocolate, chestnut, Hawaii chocolate, and Hawaii pineapple.

The products were distributed across the U.S. and in Canada through wholesale distributors and retail stores. So far, no illnesses or injuries associated with the products have been reported in the U.S..

Koala’s March cookies were recalled last month in Canada. The state of Alabama discovered melamine in the cookies last week and issued a statewide recall.
