The first live 3-D sports broadcast was beamed into nine pubs in the U.K. and Ireland on Saturday. Pubs in Manchester, London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, and Dublin, hosted the event with dark glasses and technology supplied by Sky.
“A uniquely impressive experience which really made the action come alive,” soccer pundit Frank Wiechula told the Daily Express. The spectacle has to be watched with special glasses similar to those used by audiences of James Cameron’s fantasy film "Avatar."
