“Back by popular demand, this year’s festival boasts unique interactive family programs, exploring toys, holiday customs, and seasonal traditions from across the globe,” reads the release from the museum.
The programs include creating festive holiday decorations and learning about the African-heritage holiday Kwanzaa. Santa Claus is also expected to make appearances Dec. 26–29 at 11 a.m.
General admission is $7.50 per person. Admission is free for the members of the museum and children under one year of age.
Later in 2010, the museum plans to hold a Black History Month, Chinese New Year Weekend (Feb. 6–7) and Mid-Winter Recess Festival (Feb. 13–21).
