PORTLAND, Maine—The Shen Yun Performing Arts Company dazzled another audience with its stories from China's 5,000-year history, past to present, through song, dance and music, at the packed Merrill Auditorium.
Matt, a piano tuner who also had tuned the piano used for the Shen Yun show and Shauna enjoyed the show.
"It is very flamboyant ... exciting, exciting. It's a good show. We are having a good time here," Matt said.
Also, Mr. and Mrs. Sheehan, business people from the Maine area, were in the audience and wanted to say a few words. Mrs. Sheehan saw the beautiful and colorful flyer, which piqued their interest. .
"My wife saw a flyer on it and we decided to try it out to see if we would like it”, shared Mr. Sheehan.
"The show is very colorful and energetic ... It’s a nice show."
'It’s definitely colorful'
Will, busy in real estate sales and Inna a student stopped by next to share their thoughts.
"We really liked it we really loved the drums right at the end too, that was really awesome," Will said smiling happily.
"The show! It’s definitely colorful. It got a lot of colors. The background is so cool. So far it’s really good," Inna joined with her thoughts about the show.
"The colors, yeh, they’re very nice," Will continued the conversation.
Shen Yun will be traveling to Canada to perform in Toronto Oct. 9–11.
