WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y.—With its mission to rediscover and renew humanity’s true, rightful, cultural heritage, Shen Yun Performing Arts danced its way into Westchester Performing Arts Center in Purchase College on Sunday, Aug. 2.

Attending the show was Ms. Kowalec, a retired fashion designer, who spent 38 years in the fashion industry said, “I think it was super, absolutely beautiful, the costumes were outstanding.”

The dance company showcases Chinese classical dance that contains high-flying dives, dexterous leaps and diverse spins.

“It was beautiful to watch, the background work was superb, the whole thing was so beautifully coordinated, and it was amazing to me the actual coordination, between the music and movements. It was fantastic,” said Ms. Kowalec.

But the show also impacted Ms. Kowalec on a spiritual level saying, “I had a spiritual feeling watching it. It uplifted me very much. I was inspired by it.

“I am very grateful that I was here tonight,” Ms. Kowalec said.
