Rachel Stevens is a testament to the fact that you should never snip while sozzled! The petite Strictly dancer has just finished a 50-date arena tour showing off her tango and salsa skills. Now turning her hand to beauty reviews, she told Dare of her own beauty mishap saying, “Two years ago my friend who’s a hairdresser came round with a bottle of wine and her scissors. I convinced her to cut it off, which she did in one go.” It’s taken her all this time to grow out that bob!

The flame headed actress became a pin-up during her stint in Emmerdale four years ago but has since tried to shake off this tag by focusing on theatre work, in an attempt to be known for her acting abilities. Now back with a high-profile role in Hotel Babylon, she’s determined to kill the “babe” label by declaring she’s a big fan of knitting! Chatting to Reveal, she explained her new pursuit: “I joined a club with a friend. We meet up in a coffee shop once a month with a group of ladies, learn to knit and have a coffee and a catch up.” She’s certainly serious about being taken seriously!
The credit crunch hasn’t hit some stars, like Danielle Lloyd who confessed that a recent trip abroad left her bags bulging to the point of no return. The troubled model has had a run of bad luck recently, with her home being burgled and a couple of nightclub attacks, but the WAG seems to have bounced back with a string of exotic holidays to relax. During a trip to America, she told Closer how her eyes were bigger than her bags! “When I was in Miami, I spent around £10,000 on clothes. My cases were so heavy they wouldn’t let me on the plane. I had to rush around the airport and buy a £300 suitcase to get them back.”
