Shen Yun Performing Arts
BUENOS AIRES, Argentina—Shen Yun Performing Arts again enthralled the audience at the Auditorio Belgrano in Buenos Aires, on Friday July 3.

New York-based Shen Yun presents classical Chinese dance and music depicting five thousand years of history through ancient legends and heroic figures.

Ms. Li, a music student from Taiwan, saw Shen Yun for the first time and was delighted and amazed by the experience. She was particularly enchanted with the dance and music, saying Shen Yun was “very good. The dances are excellent.”

“The singing is excellent too,” she said. “I like the singing of the tenors [Guan Guimin and Tian Ge] and the soprano [Jiang Min] the most. Their emotions are very good. Very comfortable. The composition of the music is excellent. The voice of the soprano is very sonorous. The tenors too. The music is very good.”

“The music and the dance are organized very well.”

Understanding True Eastern Culture

Ms. Xu, vice president of an import and export company, was also among the audience. She was grateful a friend had recommended Shen Yun to her as she had missed it when she was in the United States.

“I think it is quite good. I heard that they [Shen Yun] perform in the U.S. too.”

Ms. Xu loved many aspects of the performances—also appreciating the stories from history.

“Personally, I like the singing and drumming … and the history,” she said. “I did not study Chinese history, and now I don’t need to study it! I can just listen. [The Westerners] are very attentive when they watch the show, I think they should feel quite well, let them understand Eastern culture a lot, our beginning, from ancient to modern times.”

In summing up Ms. Xu added, “Very good, very good.”

Shen Yun Performing Arts will be performing in Buenos Aires until July 5. Santiago, Chile, will host three shows from July 10 to 12. The show will then return to Argentina on July 16, this time in Cordoba, performing three shows until July 18.
