BUENOS AIRES—“I like the message of the supremacy of the truth above all the other things … it has left me with a message of peace,” says Mr. Pruzzo, an economist from Buenos Aires who brought his wife to Shen Yun Performing Arts on Friday July 3.
“I like those dances that throw back to Chinese antiquity, all the colors and those movements. Of course, there are many different dances.”
He said he was especially grateful to his friend who invited him. “I didn’t know this existed!” he exclaimed.
Mrs. Pruzzo was similarly taken with the spectacle: “Well, let me tell you that the display of people in the scene, all the movements were smooth, in whichever dance.” She said she only wished more and more people could witness Shen Yun perform.
“There is a message, a mixture of art and expression through dance; there is a strong moral element, very much so,” she said.
Mr. Pruzzo liked the female dances, “especially for the choreography and for the colors,” he said. “These are very typically oriental,” he said. The colors are not what they usually see either, he said.
“The dancers were so beautiful, very delicate and very special. It gave me the sensation that the Chinese figures on porcelain were alive, here. They are so ethereal, they seem more images than people.”
