BUENOS AIRES, Argentina—Aurora and Adolfo are always going to concerts but they had never seen anything like Shen Yun Performing Arts when they saw the New York-based company at Auditorio Belgrano on July 2.
“We’ve never seen a show like this, it’s the first time,” said Aurora. “It was very good, I loved everything. The scenery, the dancing, everything, it’s a marvel, the projections.”
Aurora is a musician and was particularly inspired by the combination of music and dance in the show.
“I left the theater wanting to dance, it’s really a marvel!”
Adolfo, who is an engineer, noted the digital backdrops in the show saying, “The projections are fantastic! Really good.”
He said he was interested in world music but ancient Chinese culture was a new experience.
“It’s a culture with five thousand continuous years of history, so for this reason it’s a little unusual to our western ways of thinking.”
Both Adolfo and Aurora said that although Shen Yun was soon leaving Buenos Aires, they would recommend the show to their friends.
“I’ll recommend it because it’s really a spectacular that’s worth seeing,” Aurora said.
Artistic and Spiritual Blend Together
Mr. Apud, an entertainer and engineer, also saw Shen Yun on July 2 and thought it was “very good.”
He said the two emcees were exceptional and he was impressed with the way “artistic and spiritual are blended together”.
Mr. Apud said he hoped many more Argentinians could see the show.
Shen Yun will be performing in Buenos Aires until July 5. Santiago, Chile, will host three shows from July 10 to 12. The show will then return to Argentina on July 16, this time in Cordoba, performing three shows until July 18.
