DETROIT—The Detroit Red Wings rallied for a 3-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game Two on Sunday as their Stanley Cup rematch continued to follow a familiar script.
The best-of-seven series now shifts to Pittsburgh for the next two games with the Penguins trailing 2-0.
The Penguins were shutout in the opening two games of the finals a year ago in Detroit.
Pittsburgh took a 1-0 lead but Detroit stormed back with goals from Jonathan Ericsson, Valtteri Filppula and Justin Abdelkader while Chris Osgood delivered another superb goaltending display.
