Quitting the Chinese Communist Party

My wife and I frequently travel, and we received pamphlets about the truth of Falun Gong while vacationing in Hong Kong.  However we didn’t think much of it back then, and didn’t pay attention to any of the material in the pamphlet, as my wife and I always felt a distance between us on this matter. A friend of my wife recently came to visit, and she educated us on many facts about Falun Gong and the current wave of withdrawal from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). After listening to a detailed explanation from this friend, my wife immediately asked for her help to go online and withdraw from the CCP. She proceeded to do two withdrawals from Chinese Communist Party affiliated organizations the Young Pioneers and Communist Youth league.

My wife asked whether her friend could withdraw me as well.  Her friend said, “We should wait until your husband is back. I can also explain all to your husband as well.” The friend explained to my wife that using an “alias” to withdraw from the CCP is fine, but it has to be from his or her own will, that’s what counts. “If he does the withdrawal, not only will his future be bright, but also it was you who helped him understand the truth. You will accumulate a huge amount of virtue.”

I came home that night and my wife told me about it.  I took it to heart and listened although I didn’t care about it and missed the chance to find out before.  My heart was moved, and I told her, “Please ask your friend to help me withdraw as well. The evil party will be destroyed by the heavens. I will not be its partner in the grave.”

“I want to use this opportunity to solemnly declare: I hereby withdraw from the Young Pioneers, the Communist Youth League, and the Communist Party.  Anything I’ve declared previously under false information and lies is hereby entirely void.  From now on, I will lead an autonomous and pure life.”
