It is a great honor to be invited to give a speech and to share my thoughts at this historical moment, at this rally which represents the justice and universally accepted truth that symbolizes the complete awakening of the Chinese nation. The title of my speech is “A nation’s historical choice.”
Today, as an ex-Communist Party member, I must reveal the fact that the initiation of the 4-25 appeal in 1999*, as well as the persecution against Falun Gong (Falun Dafa) that followed, was indeed a carefully hatched plan by the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) leaders. It was the desperate response of the CCP’s leadership when facing a crisis in its ruling of a non-political group.
Before the launch of the persecution, Jiang Zemin, the then the General Secretary of the CCP once spoke to the members of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee, “Why on earth people would follow whatever Falun Gong says, whereas when our CCP says something, people would not follow? Is it an indication that our CCP has faced a crisis its ruling power?” Later, these words were widely spread among the CCP leadership. Unfortunately, when facing crisis, the CCP did not reflect on what it did to bring about the lack of support from its people and failed to make corrections. Instead, it resorted to committing new crimes. As a result, a cruel suppression and lies, targeted at the common people was launched by the CCP's rulers in order to “safeguard” its power. This persecution, with its despicable measures, uses brutal torture methods, and number of people that have been involved would shock anyone that still has a conscience. The persecution has totally surpassed the moral baseline of mankind.
From April 25, 1999 till now, 10 years have passed. In these 10 years the persecution has never stopped. In these 10 years, Falun Dafa practitioners have never halted in their peaceful and rational anti-persecution appeals. Their faith has never been moved. Right now, Falun Dafa has spread throughout the world and their principles of Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance have been widely accepted by world’s people.
The CCP’s totalitarian regime, on the other hand, has been facing an unprecedented challenge. The waves of collective protests by common Chinese people to resist its corruptive ruling have shaken the CCP’s foundation.
The CCP has largely lost the support of the Chinese people. Right now, history has made a just verdict and the 53 million Chinese who have openly quit the CCP is a clear indication of this. I personally hold that the number of 53 million is an underestimate. The number of Chinese people that have discarded the CCP in their hearts is way beyond that number. For most people, in order to make a living, they have to temporally stay with the CCP.
I am very lucky that, due to my anger towards despotic tyranny and my response from the "Nine Commentary on the Communist Party," I joined the tide of people quitting the CCP and it's affiliates in early 2009. This is the wisest choice I have ever made in my life! I believe that, when facing the disastrous reality in mainland China, when Chinese people thoroughly learn the facts, each and every Chinese will make this choice.
Who would tolerate the human rights in China constantly being violated, and justice being demoted? Who would hope that our homeland be devastated and its resources drained? Who would like to see our society filled with immorality and food constantly being poisoned? Who would tolerate the corruption of the government officials taking from people forcibly and deceivingly, neglecting their duties, and turning a deaf ear to people's choices? Who can tolerate so many lost jobs, homeless, increasing school expenses and medical expenses? In order to build confidence in the Party from the people and to maintain their ruling position, the CCP's bureaucratic interest group would use any kind of trick to cheat the population and spread all kind of lies, they have fabricated all kinds of enemies in the minds of the Chinese people. But the history proves that the CCP is truly the enemy of the Chinese people!
What is right and what is wrong has never been so clear now. The Last Judgment is coming. The demise of the CCP is only a matter of time. China is facing a historic change. In this great movement, all Chinese are forced to make a right decision.
I hope that Chinese people all unite as a one and organize to join the wave of disintegrating the CCP. Only by ending the tyranny the CCP can we protect the environment that our nation survives and lives in, revive our age-old cultural tradition, and establish a new and democratic China.

Note: On April 25, 1999 more than 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners went to Beijing to appeal for the release of a group of Falun Gong practitioners who had been unlawfully arrested and beaten by police the previous day in Tianjin. It was the largest peaceful appeal in the history of the CCP's rule. The event was later used by the CCP as an excuse to launch its persecution against Falun Gong. The persecution carries on to this day.
