"You just kind of get swept up in the music."
Mr. Jean-Paul Burle Shen Yun is "a beautiful show, well-ordered, with beautiful lights."
“I think this honor for traditional stories and the truth that our wise elders hand down to every generation is so important to recognize."
“My dream finally came true,” Mr. Lin said excitedly. “No matter how much I spent, it is well worth it.”
"I was very impressed with how well Chinese music goes with violin. Violin’s a beautiful instrument to play traditional Chinese music. I think they did it very well,” Ms. Shackford said.
Mr. Chen said he was especially impressed with the lyrics of the songs: “The vocalists illustrated Buddha’s compassion of saving sentient beings, as they were full of compassion.”
“I highly admire this orchestra. It integrates Western and Chinese instruments so well, such that its music has strong flavor of originality."
