A tornado warning was issued for Newton County, Texas, and there were reports of a possible tornado in Bon Wier.
The warning was issued by the National Weather Service for Newton County, including Burkeville, Newton, and Bon Wier.
The warning lasts until 8 p.m.
The Texas Storm Chasers Twitter said that there was a “tornado debris signature” that was evident around four miles northwest of Bon Wier.
