Every Chinese New Year, practitioners of Falun Gong, a popular Chinese spiritual discipline that has been persecuted since 1999, send greetings to the founder of the practice, Mr. Li Hongzhi.
Large numbers of these electronic greeting cards, received from all over China and from overseas, were recently displayed on the Falun Gong website Minghui.org. The cards show that there is still a vibrant and active Falun Gong community in China, despite the best efforts of the Chinese Communist Party over the last 13 years to eradicate the practice. The cards bear witness to a hope for an end to the persecution and a time when China will be free.
