The Ten Buildings with Most Units Sold in 2011

If two years ago Manhattan was dominating this list, in 2011, six out of the most bought buildings were located in Brooklyn. Below is a brief look at the top three buildings with the most sold units.

1. The Edge
As Curbed mentioned a few months ago, sales at The Edge really took off last year. The two towers at 22 North 6th Street and 34 North 7th Street had a total of 272 units sold in 2011, occupying the first spot on our list.

2. 2 Northside Piers
In second place comes the Toll Brothers’ waterfront building at 2 Northside Piers, with 143 units sold during 2011. The median sale price was $676,191.

3. Be@189 Schermerhorn
After being number one in 2010, Be@189 Schermerhorn ranked third in 2011 with 118 units sold at a median sale price of $439,375.

The biggest median sale price was recorded by Sheffield 57 (322 West 57 Street) in Clinton. There were 112 units sold in this building and the median sale price was $1,519,738.
