Amy’s Baking Company Claims Facebook Account Was Hacked

Amy’s Baking Company Bakery Boutique & Bistro claims that its Twitter, Yelp, and Facebook accounts were hacked.

“We are working with the local authorities as well as the FBI computer crimes unit to ensure this does not happen again. We did not post those horrible things,” the Arizona-based company said in a statement on Tuesday.

The company, which was featured on “Kitchen Nightmares,” prompted the show’s host, Gordon Ramsay to walk off the program for the first time in the show’s history. According to the Huffington Post, the restaurant’s owners, Amy and Samy Bouzaglo, fired more than 100 employees, pocketed tips, and yelled at a customer waiting in line for an hour for a pizza.

Ramsay, who has hosted his show for six seasons, never walked off on a client until then. “It is because they are incapable of listening,” Ramsay said on the show, according to Gawker.com

The owners received backlash on social media sites, including Reddit.

“This is Samy. I am keeping note of all names here. We will be pursuing action against you legaly, and against reddit and yelp, for this plot you have come together on. you are all just punks,” the company’s Facebook post reads on Monday.

The two owners also posted more profanity-laced tirades against their critics.

“TO REDDIT. I FORBID YOU FROM SPREADING YOUR HATE ON THAT SITE. THIS IS MY FACEBOOK, AND I AM NOT ALLOWING YOU TO USE MY COMPANY ON YOUR HATE FILLED PAGE,” reads another post, according to CNET.
