NEW YORK—Injured Yankees third-baseman Alex Rodriguez is checking out apartments around the city, including Ichiro Suzuki’s former place at The Laurel at 400 East 67th Street, the Post reported.
Suzuki just moved out of the 2,700-square-foot, four-bedroom luxury apartment. Rodriguez sold his full-floor, five-bedroom apartment on the 35th floor of the Rushmore on Riverside Drive for $6.6 million in April. The slugger paid $5.5 million for the place the year prior.
“Alex is in New York full time while he undergoes [injury] rehab,” a source told the Post. “He has looked at a lot of apartments, and Suzuki’s former place is one of them.”
