NEW YORK—Falun Dafa practitioners practice the exercises in Manhattan Chinatown’s Roosevelt Park on May 18. 

Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is an advanced practice of self-cultivation based on the universal principles of truthfulness, compassion and tolerance, according to falundafa.org, a website where all of the Falun Dafa teachings and exercise instruction are available free of charge.
