Tom Sizemore Attacked: Actor Tom Sizemore was attacked by a man who broke into his Los Angeles home Thursday night. Sizemore has more often been the offending party than the victim in police reports.
Tom Sizemore, known for his tough-guy roles in movies such as “Natural Born Killers,” “Saving Private Ryan,” “Enemy of the State,” and “Black Hawk Down,” was put in a headlock in the bathroom of his Los Angeles home by an intruder Thursday night.
The intruder identified himself as the boyfriend of a woman Sizemore was dating, according to the L.A. Times and local broadcaster KTLA. The man pretended to have a gun, assaulted Sizemore, then stole the actor’s guitars.
Police later apprehended the intruder and recovered Sizemore’s property.
In August 2003, Sizemore was convicted for abusing his girlfriend, Heidi Fleiss. He was also sentenced to 16 months in prison in 2007 for drug possession.
Sizemore got a master’s degree in theater from Temple University, according to his biography on the Internet Movie Database (IMDb). His first big break was Oliver Stone’s “Born on the Fourth of July,” in 1989.
