Brad Cook, 22, has been missing for over one week in Olathe, Kansas--and his family has no idea where he has gone.

Cook had spent the day with his father riding motorcycles and seemed to be in a good mood.

He left the house he shares with his sister later in the day without his cellphone or wallet.

Cook’s motorcycle was seen pulling into a nearby strip mall about 10 minutes later. The family hasn’t seen or heard from him since.

“This is so abnormal for him,” Jeff Cook, Brad’s father, told the Kansas City Star. “Each day we are worrying more, realizing that the odds probably aren’t working in our favor.”

Brad’s phone didn’t show any calls or texts that reveal information about what happened to him. His motorcycle was found at about 1 a.m. on Oct. 21, and video footage showed he didn’t enter the tavern that it was parked outside of.

“It’s like I have a 200-piece jigsaw puzzle in front of me, and I can’t even find two pieces to put together,” Jeff Cook said. “We’re just distraught. We don’t know what to do next.”

Hundreds of the family’s friends have been helping search for Cook, but haven’t been able to find him.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the family or call the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department at 913-715-5560 or 816-474-TIPS.
