TAIPEI, Taiwan—Former national policy advisor and president of United Nation for Taiwan Campaign, Fan Jen-hui, said that although he watched the performance of Divine Performing Arts (DPA) for the first time, he was immensely touched. He felt the dancing was natural, wonderful, and touching, because it was combined with body, spirit, and faith.
“I was most impressed by the program, Heaven Awaits Us Despite Persecution," he said. He felt sympathetic to the presenttion. It shows how Falun Gong is persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party and how the universal values such as human rights, democracy, and equality are trampled upon. He said, “I was moved by the protagonist’s spirit of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance. At last, the protagonist died and ascended to heaven. I felt the scene was very realistic.”
Mr. Fan said that after watching the show, he felt all people are kind-hearted. “We should cherish the truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance shown in Falun Gong practitioners. To forgive the persecutors, which Falun Gong practitioners’ do, is something that touched me a lot.
“Their singing and the performance of every performer are natural and realistic. From the words of the singers, I felt that people ‘come with nothing and pass away with nothing’ [are born and then die with nothing]. I also want to learn Falun Gong for the morality of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance sought by Falun Gong practitioners, and the capacity they showed. What they presented is very touching.”
