Chelsea Clinton will wed fiancé Marc Mezvinsky – an investment banker – this Saturday in upstate New York, roughly 90 miles north of Manhattan.
The Clinton family has been discreet about the wedding details, but wedding experts have predicted the cost of the wedding to be between $3 million to $5 million, the New York Daily News reported.
The wedding, whose guest list is rumored to include U.S. politicians, diplomats from around the world, and Oprah Winfrey, will be “bigger” and “more important” than a regular celebrity wedding, celebrity event planner Diann Valentine told the New York Daily News.
"It will certainly be the most influential of setting trends,” Valentine said. “If anything becomes public knowledge it will immediately set a trend."
Clinton and Mezvinsky have already received wedding gifts from around the world, according to USA Today.
Vietnamese Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem presented a white tablecloth for the couple to Secretary of State and mother-of-the-bride Hillary Clinton on Friday in Hanoi.
Khiem also gave Clinton a mosaic portrait of the mother-daughter duo made of gemstones.
