Recently, the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement has been having more protests in the city: from Wednesday’s march to occupying Union Square on Thursday.

The Epoch Times asked New Yorkers what they think about OWS and how they think the police and the media have treated the Occupy Wall Street movement.

Approximately 300 protesters gathered in Union Square to protest “naked and systematic violence and repression” of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

With the occupation of Zuccotti Park a not-too-distant memory, an upcoming event seeks to examine what public space is and who’s behind it.

Protesters took over Zuccotti Park near Wall Street and a growing number of people camped there until Nov. 15 when police disbanded the camp in an early morning raid.

On Thursday, the two-month anniversary of Occupy Wall Street’s inception, protesters will unite under the banner of “the 99 percent” for a National Day of Action.
