Green Party

The party has proposed a $27.9 billion plan aimed at building 610,000 houses over the next decade through a government-owned property developer.

The alleged incident involving 43-year-old MP Golriz Ghahraman, who is the Green Party’s Justice Spokesperson, took place two days before Christmas.

The previous government, helmed by Jacinda Arden, brought into law the Crown Minerals (Petroleum) Amendment Act which banned new exploration permits.

Dr. Brown’s lawyers argue the charge should be dismissed.

‘The new government’s plan to expand oil and gas exploration is as dangerous as it is unscientific,’ said the Green party leader.
